Susan and Julian had a magical wedding at the beautiful Redbrow Garden Guesthouse Bed and Breakfast in Murrumbateman, NSW. These two had a very special vision for their wedding and it was so amazing to see it unfold in front of everyone on the day. From Susan surprising all the guests with her arrival by boat, escorted by a perfectly timed duck (another photography bucket list item achieved – thanks guys!) to the enthusiastic bush dancing at the end of the night. This wedding had it all.

I simply loved being there to tell their story and producing images for them to fall in love with!

When it comes to wedding photography I’m interested in documenting a couples day, but not directing it. Very few people are comfortable with being ‘posed’. I can show you how to look your best but I won’t be telling you to point at your shoes and laugh… not unless your shoes happen to tell a very good joke. I’m always looking for ways to tell your story in a way that truly reflects who you are. After all, you and your fiancé are unique and your wedding is unique, and that means telling the story of your wedding will be unique.

Feeling comfortable around your wedding photographer is essential as they will be with you more than almost anyone else on your wedding day. I have a natural and relaxed way of building rapport with anyone and this helps in capturing those truly magical moments. As one of my grooms told me recently, which I loved hearing “We have formed a bond that you just can’t break.”
